Dr. Richard Goodwin

Dr. Goodwin began working at Port Coquitlam Animal Hospital in 2000. He completed his DVM at the Ontario Veterinary College in 1999. He is loved by clients not only for his great skill as a diagnostician and surgeon, but also for his compassion. When not at work, Dr. Goodwin enjoys playing hockey, traveling and spending time with his family and pets.

Dr. Lisa Wallis

Dr. Wallis joined our team in 2008. She obtained her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1999. She enjoys the challenge of veterinary medicine and nurturing the human-animal bond. Outside her time at clinic, she loves spending time with her family, hiking (especially Wedgemont!), traveling and walking her dog, Chewy.

Dr. Robert Horne

Dr. Horne began working as a veterinarian at Port Coquitlam Animal Hospital in 1986. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from UBC, and DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Horne thoroughly enjoys practicing Veterinary Medicine at Port Coquitlam Animal Hospital because of the great clients, colleagues and fun staff members! Outside of work, you can find him spending time with his Jack Russell Terrier, Emma, as well as skiing, hiking, reading and listening to music.

Dr. Diane Boyle

Dr. Boyle joined the Port Coquitlam Animal Hospital team in 2000. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree from SFU in 1982 and her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1988. In addition to her work with us, she teaches courses for the Animal Health Technology Program at Douglas College. When Dr. Boyle is not seeing cases or teaching, she enjoys time with her family, her rescue cat Stu, her Shih Tzu cross Anna, traveling, reading, and cross country skiing.

Dr. Renee Ferguson

Dr. Ferguson joined the Port Coquitlam Animal Hospital family in 2006 after moving to the Tri Cities. She graduated from UVic in 1995 with a Bachelor in Science degree and obtained her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She loves getting to know each client and pet. She believes that pets are members of the family and should be treated with dignity and compassion. When not at work, Dr. Ferguson can be found having fun with her family, including her dog Gracie and rescue cat, Izzy.

Dr. Sarah Grundy

Dr. Grundy has been working at Port Coquitlam Animal Hospital since 2008. She graduated with her DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 after obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree from SFU in 2004. Her interests include horseback riding, the great west coast outdoors and music. She loves working at Port Coquitlam Animal Hospital because of the fun "family" of people, and can't imagine a more interesting and rewarding profession!
