What are elective surgeries?

Elective surgeries are routine procedures our veterinary team recommends, but you ultimately can decide whether or not your pet should have them. Some of these include spay, neuter, dental extractions and removal of benign growths on the skin. Spay and neutering remove your pet’s ability to reproduce, which also limits the behaviours associated with your pet being heat. The procedure also limits overpopulation. During our dental extractions, one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians with special training handles the cleaning while a veterinarian performs extractions. While most masses found in furry friends are benign, there are times our veterinary team will recommend their removal to ensure your pet’s health. If you have questions about our surgical procedures, please contact us at 604-464-6666.

What urgent procedures do you offer?
